Whenever we intervene in the brake system, we verify the wear condition of all working components of the system. We check the condition of the surface of the brake discs or drums and their thickness. We inspect the wear of the friction surfaces of the brake pads or shoes. We verify the condition of brake calipers and piston seals, and perform cleaning and lubrication if necessary. We check the wear condition of the brake yoke and the condition and tightness of the sliding connections. With each disassembly of the aforementioned components, all contact surfaces, mounting surfaces and threaded connections and bolts are thoroughly cleaned and preserved.
